This
natural rock arch is at Jenolan Caves, Nr Lithgow, NSW,
and the area is well worth visiting. You are almost
guaranteed to see wallabies and kangaroos. Also, the
natural limestone caves are well worth visiting. If you
have previously visited limestone caves elsewhere these
ones are, in all honestly, much the same. |

The
Great Barrier Reef, off the coast of central and northern
Queensland is brilliant. When snorkelling the tropical
fish swim within inches of your face and they are of
every colour in the rainbow. The different forms of
coral, clams, etc are amazingly fascinating. The hours
just fly past in this marine haven and the water is
beautiful, clear and warm. I love it. |

A
Flathead Turtle returns to the sea after laying about 100
eggs in the sand dunes near Bundaberg, Qld. I hope she
comes back next year to lay a 100 more and that she isn't
turned into stew by the indigenous population of
Australia who are still allowed to hunt this endangered
species under the guise of "traditional"
lifestyles. There won't be much "traditional"
about them when they are
exterminated. |

Let's
face it - what Aussie Album would be complete without a
pic of a Koala. Please don't call these creatures Koala
bears because they are not bears they are marsupials.
This is not a professionally taken photograph but it was
taken out in the Aussie bush as opposed to those shots of
koalas taken in zoos, etc. If you really want to know
more about them I'll add some links as I find them. But
from first hand experience they smell, they bite, and
they are basically grumpy bastards. |
